About Us
Maranatha Chapel San Marcos was born in 2005 on the simple pattern outlined by the Holy Spirit in Acts 2:42 & 47.
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayer... And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
A church with an UPWARD focus that would bring glory to God, that would lift up the name of Jesus, and that would be yielded to the Holy Spirit in all things.
A church with an INWARD focus to be grounded in God’s word (1st Timothy 3:16), learn to pray (Philippians 4:6-7), grow stronger in fellowship with other believers (John 13:34-35), and can be equipped to share the love of Christ with others (Ephesians 4:11-16).
A church with an OUTWARD focus that the overflow of our fellowship with God and with each other would be evident in how we live our lives and how we reach out to the lost, hurting, confused, and dying (Matthew 28:18-20).
